WOW WOW WOW is all I can say. Tonight we had Jen’s weekly family dinner followed up by a surprise cake for my birthday tomorrow!
Laurie has been making all kinds of cakes lately; for birthday parties, graduations, holidays, and for no reason at all. Tonight, however I had to do a double take when I saw this masterpiece.
Not sharing any ideas she had for making this cake for me, she hid the concept and all the details from everyone until the last possible moment. The camera we gave her last year served as a model for this work of art. This is based off of the Nikon D200 with a 18-200VR lens. If you are a Canon fan, you might find a little humor in the last few photos, and as difficult as it was to cut; it was DELICIOUS as well.
If you would like to see if Laurie can whip up a custom creation of your own, you can find more of her cakes here on Facebook
